Lindsey was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and grew up in Idaho Falls and in Richmond, Virginia. She is a 2001 graduate of Hillcrest High School in Ammon. She attended Brigham Young University as a National Merit Scholar, where she studied Russian and Welsh and graduated in 2004 with a degree in Linguistics.

Lindsey graduated magna cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 2010. During law school, she served as the Managing Editor of Publication for the BYU Law Review. Lindsey also served in leadership positions for the Student Bar Association and the Natural Resources Law Society. She was one of the founding members of Legal Spin, the law school’s cycling club.

Lindsey has been practicing law in Idaho Falls since 2010. Lindsey is admitted to practice in Idaho and Wyoming in federal and state court. Her practice includes both litigation and transactional work, and has to date focused on the areas of estate planning, probate, and general business and real property litigation and transactions. She serves as a volunteer lawyer for the CASA program, representing the court-appointed guardians for children in child protection cases.

Lindsey is currently the Vice President of the Idaho Falls Rotary Club. She is a past president of the Eagle Rock Inn of the American Inns of Court. She has also served on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Idaho. Lindsey is a member of American Mensa and Mensa International. Lindsey is an avid hiker and an amateur naturalist, and enjoys spending as much time as possible in Idaho’s outdoors.
