Leslie has fifteen years of experience conducting a litigation practice. She has extensive experience in handling medical liability defense, professional liability and health care disputes. Over her legal career, Leslie also has handled matters involving insurance, civil rights, antitrust, automobile and vehicular accidents, and subrogation. Leslie has been repeatedly recognized by SuperLawyers as a Mountain States Rising Star. Leslie is “AV” Preeminent Peer-Review Rated by Martindale Hubbell.
Leslie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, where she graduated with a double major in Economics and International Relations, with her focal interest being Japanese diplomatic relations. Following college, Leslie worked in the Seattle office of a Japanese corporation until she entered law school at the University of the Pacific. During law school, Leslie received honors in international moot court competitions. After graduating from law school, Leslie joined the predecessor firm of Carey Perkins LLP, and she was one of the attorneys who was with Carey Perkins LLP at its inception in 1998. Leslie is now a partner in the firm.
Leslie is a member of the Idaho bar, and is admitted to practice in state and federal courts, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the Idaho Law Foundation Continuing Legal Education Committee, a member of the Idaho State Bar Fee Arbitration Panel and a member of the Idaho State Bar Committee for the Unauthorized Practice of Law. Leslie has also served as a judge for the Idaho Law Foundation's Idaho Mock Trial Competition. Leslie serves as Vice President of the University of Puget Sound Alumni Council. She is a partner with the firm, and practices in the Boise office.
