Kevin has a litigation practice throughout Southern Idaho. Kevin's practice includes insurance coverage, bad faith/extracontractual litigation, construction law, professional liability and personal injury defense. A significant component of his practice consists of analyzing insurance coverage and underwriting issues involving commercial general liability insurance, homeowner's insurance and transportation liability insurance and providing advice and recommendations to insurance carriers. Kevin has written extensively on insurance coverage and appellate issues. He is a member of the Idaho State Bar.
Kevin was born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho. He received a bachelor of arts degree from College of Idaho in 2005, majoring in history. Kevin worked his way through college, and was on the dean's list every semester of his last two years. After graduating from college, he worked for a year for a law firm in Canyon County, Idaho.
Kevin graduated magna cum laude from University of Idaho College of Law in 2009. During law school, Kevin was the Managing Editor of the Idaho Law Review, and during his staff year was voted outstanding editor by the other members of the law review. In 2009, the Idaho Law Review published an article written by Kevin entitled, "The Expense of Uncertainty: How A Lack of Clear E-Discovery Standards Put Attorneys and Clients in Jeopardy," 45 Idaho L. Rev. 441 (2009). Kevin also was active in moot court., and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta.
After law school, Kevin served for one year as a judicial law clerk on the Idaho Supreme Court, working with the Honorable Jim Jones.
Kevin is an associate attorney in the Boise office.
