Ms. Sallak graduated from Wellesley College in 1989. During college, Ms. Sallak received Honors in English and was the recipient of the Mary Ann Youngren Memorial Award in Critical Reading. Following college, Ms. Sallak performed graduate studies in English at the University of Virginia. She then worked for several years in the insurance industry in Atlanta, South Florida and Idaho as a commercial property and casualty insurance broker. Ms. Sallak attended law school at the University of Idaho College of Law, receiving her juris doctor, cum laude, in 2008. During law school, Ms. Sallak was on the Dean's List every semester. She served as symposium editor of the Idaho Law Review, president of the Non-Traditional Student Group, treasurer of Law Students for Alternative Dispute Resolution, and volunteered as a mediator. After law school, Ms. Sallak performed a judicial clerkship for the Honorable John R. Stegner, Second Judicial District for the State of Idaho. Ms. Sallak is admitted to the Idaho State Bar, and she is admitted to practice in both federal and state courts. Ms. Sallak has a general litigation practice and practices in the Idaho Falls office.
