Ms. White grew up in the rural town of Buhl, Idaho, also known as the Trout Capital of America. Ms. White graduated from Boise State University in 2000 with a B.A. degree in Political Science with an International Relations emphasis. Following college, Ms. White worked as a Hazardous Materials Coordinator at an international shipping company until she entered law school. Ms. White received her J.D. in 2006 from the University of Idaho. While in law school, she represented the school in the Inter-American Human Rights Moot Court Competition held at American University in Washington D.C. She was also the lead student editor of the German Law Journal. During the summer after her first year of law school, Ms. White participated in a study abroad program through the University of Miami, in which she traveled to Greece, Italy, France, and Spain. During the summer of 2005, Ms. White interned in the Idaho State Bar Counsel's office and with the Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program. Upon completion of law school, Ms. White joined Carey Perkins LLP as an associate attorney. She is a member of the Idaho State Bar and is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts.
