Mr. Adams received his B.A. degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California in 1979. He received his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1983. Mr. Adams served as a law clerk to the Honorable Roger Swanstrom of the Idaho Court of Appeals.
Upon completion of his judicial clerkship, Mr. Adams joined the law firm of Quane, Smith, Howard, and Hull in 1985. Since that time, Mr. Adams has maintained a litigation, appellate and dispute resolution practice. His practice at Carey Perkins, LLP includes governmental liability, civil rights, employment practices, municipal law, insurance coverage, real estate disputes, automobile and vehicular matters, and personal injury. Mr. Adams practices in north Idaho and eastern Washington, and has trial experience throughout that region, in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Adams is a member of the Idaho and Washington bars. He currently serves on the Professional Conduct Board of the Idaho State Bar Association. He received a Service Award from the Bar in 1998 for his work on the Character and Fitness Committee and as a Bar Exam grader. Mr. Adams is a partner in the firm, and practices in the Coeur d' Alene office.
